Auto Reply for Outlook 2002

I can not get outlook to "automatically reply to incoming
messages while out of the office"

On the help menu it asked me to go to the "tools menu and
click Out of Office Assistant." This "assistant does not
appear as an option under my tools.

Please help. Thanks.
 
The Out of Office Assistant is only available to clients who are running
against an Exchange server. If you do not have Exchange, you would need to
create rules and leave Outlook open and connect via the task scheduler to
send/receive mail. The down side is that this will include all spammers who
will know they have a "Livë" address for future spamming.

the SWEN virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted
without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Kirby asked:
