Auto reminders on past calendar entries

How do I stop Outlook 2003 automatically setting a reminder when I create a
calendar entry for date/time that is already in the past? I want reminders to
be automatically set for future date/time entries.

This worked fine in Outlook 2000, but I can't find any option for this in
2003.

It's bug in Ol2003. Make sure you have all the latest updates installed.

According to both Microsoft Update, and Microsoft Office Update I have the
latest updates to everything. I can't find anything in the knowledge base
about it. Do you know of a fix?
Thanks!
