Auto Refresh current page?

Is it possible to have Internet Explorer automatically refresh the page
being
displayed every so many minutes?

This would be very convenient for pages with data that are continuously
updated (news headlines, stock quotes, airport arrivals, etc.)

Thanks!

Yes and no. Yes you can do a meta refresh command with a
special url addition. Do a google search for
instructions on html version 4.0 with meta refresh and
you will find instructions on this source code. And no,
not all internet explorer users will get automatically
updated because there is an option to disable these
automated scripting refreshes for the user by the browser.

Thank you,

But can I do this on the Address line of my browser?

From the info that I find on the web, I understand that this meta tag
must be in the header of the web page itself.

Can you give an example how I can open http://www.news.com so
that the page is updated every 5 minutes in my browser, without me
needing to klik the Refresh button?

Thanks!
