Auto Recover for MS Office 2003?

I'm using MS Office Word for 2003 and keep getting a message that says the
auto recover is disabled. For the life of me, I can't find out how to enable
it.

Anyhelp would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

In 2003 Save AutoRecover Data is controlled by settings in Tools> Options>
Save. If the feature is already activated but you still get the message it
could be due to something that's preventing the necessary temporary files
from being created.
