Is it possible to restart the auto numbering within a table? I created a
database and i was testing it out. But now i want to clear it at least in
certain tables. I deleted everything but it starts off with odd numbers.

Thanks!

I think you have to delete it all, then compact your database.

Do a search. I have seen this asked many times.

Compact the MDB once the records are deleted. This should restart the
numbers at 1.

Thanks. To compact the database you go to Tools > Database Utilities >
Compact and Repair Database.

I wrote that for those coming after me that have no idea what i means to
compact their database, because i didn't. :-) I just put compact into Help.

Thanks again!
