auto name fillin failure after reinstall of outlook

Hartman

Hello All,

I have a problem where a client had his Outlook 2000
reinstalled and now that auto complete in the To: field
fails. He uses and exchange server and the contacts list is
there.

I am assuming it has something to do with contacts folder
stored on the server vs the local clients PAB. If so how do
I go about getting the current contacts folder to sync'ed
with the local PAB so the auto name resolution works again?

Thanks
Hartman

Provide more detail.
Outlook 2000 has no autocomplete feature and does not use the PAB.

When you are adding a name in the "to" field and then hit
check names it fills in. After this user had OL2000
re-installed this feature does not work anymore.

Make sure the Outlook Address Book Service is installed and configured
correctly in the new profile.
