My windows XP notebook has 2 accounts, one guest, one admin. Upon boot up,
How do I enable the machine to automatically login to the guest account?

Thanks

.. Go to the Start Menu and the Run box.
.. Type in the following:
control userpasswords2
.. now click OK
.. In the new Windows that appears select the account you wish to make the primary logon.
.. Now uncheck the "Users must enter a username and password..." box.
.. Hit Apply and a dialog box will appear asking you to confirm the selected users password.

Click OK.
The changes will work the next time you restart your computer.

Why would you want to? the Guest account is a security risk. Set up a
Limited User account and use that.

As Microsofft Base Security Advisor says that the Guest account (if enabled)
is a security risk, why tell the OP on how to use it on a daily basis?
Why not recommend the setting up of a Limited user account instead?

It's a local account only. If still worried and you want to use Guest, just
slap a password on the account.
