Auto Launch Outlook at Scheduled Times

A common time management tip is to "set specific times throughout the day to
check and respond to e-mails". It would be very helpful if I could schedule
Outlook to auto launch at certain times throughout the day. Then, I could
exit Outlook altogether and be confident that the program will notify me (by
launching, of course) when it's time to check e-mail again.

I realize there would be an issue with the Calendar (e.g., meeting reminders
outside of "e-mail time" not being able to display at the appropriate time,
co-workers not being able to view your schedule), but you're all so clever,
I'm sure you can get around that.

You can use the Windows Scheduled Tasks feature to launch any program at a
specific time.

Just for the avoidance of doubt for other posters, if you are using an
enterprise-class email system such as Exchange then your schedule ("free and
busy" time) will be available to all users whether you have Outlook running
or not.

If you are just using Outlook on a stand-alone basis, then surely they dont
have access to this anyway.

Lack of calendar "pings" will be a great bonus for time management - you
will spend much less time wated in meetings if you never know when to go to
them!
