If Word is not saving your settings, then see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/MissingMenusEtc.htm for instructions on rebuilding the Word Data key in the Registry, but if you're on a corporate network, be aware that a login script may be resetting your settings to some corporate default. -- Suzanne S.
