Hi, I've done a couple of searches through excelforum.com, but I can'
puzzle out what I need.

All I need is to fill one column with alternating rows of dates fro
Sunday through Friday. For example:

6/13/2004
6/14/2004
6/15/2004
6/16/2004
6/17/2004
6/20/2004
6/21/2004
6/22/2004
6/23/2004
6/24/2004
6/27/2004
and so on...

Thank you very much in advance,
Da

Hi Dan!

Your example and your words don't match.

In your example you want to get rid of 18 and 19-Jun-2004 which are
Friday and Saturday.

To achieve that use:

=IF(WEEKDAY(B4)=5,B4+3,B4+1)

In your words, you just want to get rid of Saturday. To achieve that
use:

=IF(WEEKDAY(A8)=6,A8+2,A8+1)

Thank you very much Mr. Harker!

And you're right, I goofed in my words. I meant Sunday through
*Thursday*.
Thanks again for your help; I find it easier to learn formulas by
seeing them "in action", and this will surely prove useful in future
cases.

Cheers,
Dan

Hi Dan!

No problem! It shows that giving examples of what you want is useful.
Nuch too easy to make mistakes with wurds.
