Auto Dialup, disable

I have just reinstalled Windows XP Home. After loading
programs, the computer continually brings up the window
to connect to the internet (asks for password). I
believe this is because auto dialup is configured to do
so. I cannot figure out how to disable it. I have
changed settings in Internet Options-Properties to all
available options: "Never Dial" "Dial whenever a network
connection is not present" "Always dial my network
connection." It does not make any difference what
selection is made, the window continues to popup for
internet connection. I also get an error message
indicating a problem related to "rasautou.exe."

Any suggestions?

Perhap you have a 3rd party dialer, or even Spyware! I think if you search
googal for "rasautou.exe", you will find some intresting results. I suguest
you download and install a spyware remover like "SpyBot" (search googal for
the free download), and remove any spyware form your system.

Good luck,
