Auto create records

Hi, I have a table containing only one field this filed contains a list of
numbers from 1 through to 3000, is there any code or macro I can use so that
a user can have a form where they enter a number (for example 3500) and press
a button which would then create new records for every number between 3000
and 3500.

I don't have VB experience so a comprehensive code would be appreciated.

Replace:
For lng = 1 To conMaxRecords
with:
For lng = 3001 To 3500
