Auto-correct doesn't work in reply in outlook

I have auto-correct spelling set up, but it doesn't work when I reply to a
message; only when I create one. Am I missing a setting somewehre?
 
Tools, Options, Spelling, check the Auto-correct options there. You should
say what version of OL and whether you are using Word as editor.
 
I had the same problem. Make sure that the "Ignore original message text in
reply or forward" option under Tools/Options/Spelling is NOT checked. That
did it for me.
