auto correct arrow isn't working although all options are enalbed

in the tools --> auto correct menu

Could you give a bit more information, please?

- Version of Word/Office?

- Which option are we discussing?

- Is the problem only with certain AutoCorrect entries (I assume we're
talking about the bottom half of the dialog box), or all entries?

- Does the problem happen in all documents, or just particular ones?

- Are you using a font other than Arial or Times New Roman? If yes, how
about if you switch to one of these fonts?
