+ Auto Copy a Few Key Files to USB Drive at Shutdown? +

C

Chris

Looking for a small program that will automatically copy a few files
of my choosing (say, Outlook's .pst file as an example) to my USB
flash drive whenever I shut my system down (XP SP2).

Ideally, if I selected Start/Turn Off Computer/Turn Off, such a
program would intervene, copy the files I have previously selected to
the USB flash drive, and then proceed with shutdown.

Alternatively, a program that would do the same thing like an
old-school batch file would work too. Hopefully I could trigger it
from the desktop just prior to shutting down.

The point here is that I want to be able to automatically copy several
critical files to the flash drive as quickly and easily as possible on
a daily basis.

Thanks for any help.

Google is your friend. Search for groups with dos and batch in name.

Karen's Replicator, if you don't mind clicking a button to do the
backup.
