auto configuration script

In my Internet Options - Internet Properties - Lan Settings -
The "use auto configuration script" checkbox is checked."
In the address box is: "http://autoconfig.cpqcorp.net"
Is this normal? Should that be even in there? I haven't seen it before and I
can't seem to find any info. on it. Any help please? Thanks

This is a guess on my part but is your PC an HP or a Compaq? If
so, this may have something to do with one of the applications
that came preinstalled on your machine.
