auto complete email address not address listed in outlook contacts

i have a contact who for this purpose i will call harry. he is shown in my
contact as (e-mail address removed) and if i use contacts to start the email
this spelling comes into the to box. However, if i start an email from the
new button (my normal method) and then start typing harry's name in, the
option that pops up with auto complete is (e-mail address removed) without the
middle initial b. This is also the spelling if i click the to button. but as
i have already stated the outlook contacts listing shows the email address
with the b and the display address is listed the same as the email address
above it.
i have tried typing in the correct spelling expecting it to next email then
show the correct spelling and the incorrect one but no it still only give the
incorrect option.
if you have the solution please list the actions i should take clearly. i'm
only a beginner.

If you have an incorrect entry in the autocompletion cache, you can remove
it. Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by
highlighting the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your
arrow key to migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before
you tab out of the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions
here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q287623

You may also obtain a utility for editing the autocomplete file at
www.dcs-imaging.com/products.htm it's called Owtlook
