Auto complete addresses

Hello,

I am just starting with Vista and windows mail. In XP I was able to have
auto complete when typing in my addresses. I don't even know all their
adresses anymore without looking them up each time and I can't seem to print
them out from my contacts list for reference. (I usually began to type in
their name and the whole name would pop in without their adresses and the
email would just know where to go.)

I went to "TOOLS" then "OPTIONS" then "SEND" and in that window I made sure
that the box for "Automatically complete mail adresses when composing" was
checked but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. The auto complete
for my email adresses that have been moved over from my old XP version still
will not fill in even after many letters are typed. Any suggestions?

Auto-complete does not work well in Windows Mail. It only remembers
the last 29 addresses you sent mail to.
That function works much better in he newer Windows Live Mail.
I recommend you upgrade to it:
