oke, let me explain a bit more
i have the next table
partsID discripsion (text field) orderparts (number field)
supplaer and more....
1 Cilinder 05120100
Schreinemacher ...........
2 Cilinder 05120101
Schreinemacher ...........
2 Valve 02156412
Schreinemacher ...........
etc...

now what i want is that if i fill in de field orderparts that access chechs
if the nummer allready exist
this must then be dun after a update i think
so that no two off the same numbers (parts) are listed




also i want to make in a quary a field whare i join the fields "discrpsion"
and "orderparts" together
can i do this?

If that's a hard and fast rule best thing would be to set the Indexed
property of the field to Yes (No duplicates) in Table Design View
