auto accent marks on "english" words

Hi All

I am currently running Office 2003 standard and when in Outlook or Word, I found that typing a word such as "resume" it would automatically add the accent ague over the letter "e" as in the French language. I did like that feature. Suddenly it is not working any longer and the only thing I believe that I have done is to use office update to patch Office 2003

Can anyone help me to turn that feature back on

Thanks

I use the auto-correct feature for that purpose. It is under the Tools menu. You'll want to replace "resume" with "resumé"... so everytime you type resume, it will correct it to resumé. Good luck!

If you really want it correct, have it corrected to résumé.

What she said... (I used Chuck's example, I'm not familiar with accents for the word resume. :) )
