As Chriss suggested, it is imperative that you set up Active Directory Sites
and Services correctly. You would need to have set up the five sites (
well, the first one is set up for you so you would have to create the other
four ). You then need to create the appropriate subnets AND then associate
each subnet with a specific Site. You also need to make sure that DHCP is
handing out the correct information to the clients.

You create Sites and place DCs in the appropriate Sites to essentially
accomplish two things: control Active Directory replication and 'assist'
user logons.
Have you placed the DCs in the appropriate Sites? I assume that you have
but want to check to make sure.
