Authenticated Users group

Does anyone know if the Authenticated Users group is specific to the
single domain, or does it also contain all users from trusted domains
as well?

Russ, this group contains users that "authenticated" agains one domain, even
from another domains, because these users, from another domains need before
authenticated to access any resource.
