Auditing of AD to SQL Database.

The project I work on requires the implementation of an audit trail to
cover a 1 year period on our AD domain with 5,000 users. It must
include "account creation, amendments and disablings and access rights
granted to users".

I imagine it would be difficult to collect and maintain this volume of
information in its entirety with the built-in Win2k auditing, so have
been looking for a third party application which covers this area but
without much success.

A colleague said he had seen a demonstration of a product some time
ago which audits all AD information to an SQL database but he couldn't
remember the name of that product. Was wondering if anyone out there
could help or offer any alternative recommendations.

Thanks!

Jab.

There's actually a variety of products that do this. Network Computing
Magazine did a review on them a while ago. Search nwc.com, I'm sure they've
got the article online.

I'm having problems finding it, have done a few searches but nothing
turning up. Also nothing obvious listed under

If you have any idea of the review title or date, I'd appreciate if
you could reply; hours of futile google searches for a possible
solution are just doing my nut!
