Audit User Access

Hi Everyone,

I have just tried to set up auditing of access to certain folders following
the kb article 300549.

I have set up the AD group policy as instructed but when I try to apply an
audit trail to a directory I get a message box saying that the audit policy
had not been activated but it is!

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

Jonathan is there any thing related to the message box in the event log of
the particular machine?

Hi Chriss,

No nothing appears in any of the event logs.

Do you know of any KB articles that explain setting up user audits better
than the one I have tried?
