Audit Account Login

I had a question about a local security policy. When I go
to Start>Settings>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Local
Security Settings>Local Policies>Audit Account Login
Events the two checkboxes, ones says success and the other
says failure, are grayed out. My question, is does
Windows XP gray those boxes out by default, or is that
done on the server side? If it is done on the server side
is there any documentation that says so? Thanks.

That means that secuirty policy has been defined at a higher level such as
domain or Organizational Unit which will override local policy. --- Steve
