Hi,

I'm trying to redesign someone elses Access 2002
Database. Everytime I open the database I get the
following warning

contains a missing or broken reference to the
file "audioControls2.ocx" version 1.0

Does anyone know how to stop this from appearing?

I have been looking through the database but cannot find
any reference to it...

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi,

If there are no broken references the Activex Control (audioControls2.ocx)
may have been embedded into a form.

Open each form, until you get a message saying No Object etc.

Then remove the Activex Control container from the form.

Or install the Activex Control onto the PC.
