Is there a free program to copy a sound file from a web page.

Usually right click on the title ans "Save as"

Or look in your Temporary internet files, it should be in there somewhere,
and save it to a handy location.

Or you may be able to save it direct from the file menu of your media
player, if you're playing it

Perhaps even easier is to right click on the link that plays the
recording (be it audio, video or any file) and select the option that
says "Save Targe As...".
