I am using 6.2 with Windows XP SP2 and a Logitech webcam.

I have set the audio/Video wizard to use the microphone in the webcam.
When I connect with one of my contacts with a web cam, to get web and audio,
do I have to click on the web cam button and then the audio butto and get
them to accept both to be able to talk and se them?

Thanks

Bad choice. Get a $15.00 microphone from Office Depot or Circuit City and
plug it into the SOUND CARD.

Got a microphone plugged into the sound card and it still won't connect. It
just says establishing connection for a while and then ends audio?

The only other suggestion is to check the sound setup. Double click the
Volume icon in your
System Tray and then Options/Properties, Make sure the Mic is NOT selected
in the Playback mode, but IS selected in the Recording Mode. Do a complete
check of this system and make sure it is configured correctly. If none of
this works, would have some tech check the sound card.

Joel.

Thanks for the advice, have the mic working fine. It records no problem. But
messgener will not connect using audio. It looks as if it may be a Messenger
problem
