audio in PowerPoint saved for web

I have set up a PowerPoint presentation that includes
music that plays in the background. I would like to make
the presentation available over the web, and I can publish
it, but users can't open it if they don't have PowerPoint.
I have been able to save the presentation as a Web Page,
but the music won't play beyond the first page when it is
saved as an HTML file. The music starts on the first page,
but as soon as the first slide transition takes place, the
music shuts down for the remainder of the presentation.
Does anyone know if there a way around this?

This may work but may not.If you open first page of your
presentation and right click the music icon "trumpet" a
box opens with choices. Choose custom animation, another
box opens with choices to pause during presentation or
play during one slide or whatever number you select. Hope
this is of some help, good luck,::: Jim
