audio from file & music

I want part of my movies to use audio form the film and
parts from music files or others sources, moviemaker (from
what I have seen) only seems to let you do one or the
other using the slider. I am I wrong please.... help! I
want to use some clips with the actual audio from the
video & other parts from an audio file.

Put the clip with the audio you want to use on the Audio/Music track, and
the clips with the video/audio on the video track.

You can use the audio of either, but you might have to split the clips as
needed to mute or change the volume for a segment.

But you can do it fairly easy.

You need to download moviemaker 2. Moviemaker 2 allows
you to do that
