Audio email program?

Anyone know of a free program for adding audio to regular emails? What I
want to do is make a personalized birthday greeting email and add audio to
the message.

Any email client which can create messages in HTML and attach files.

Susan, thanks for the reply and the link. You provided exactly what I ask
for but unfortunately I didn't ask for what I really wanted (smile). I
guess what I am really looking for is a program that will imbed audio files
into the body of an email---that will play as soon as the email is opened
and not require one to first click on the audio file.

I resubmit my request anew and try to explain myself a little better.

A dangerous practice. That is how viruses are spread. Stick to the
click situation.
