audio editing

okay, so i'm having some trouble editing music clips. i have one song in the
beginning of my movie, but i want to merge into another song after about 30
seconds. how do i do this? i can't figure out how to cut and edit audio
clips. do i need to do it before i import into Movie Maker?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

towards the bottom of the screen there is a button that says show storyboard
or show timeline, make sure you have it on timeline mode. you will see all
the parts of the video next to the heading that says video. once you import
your music you place your music next to the audio/music. from there you can
click on each music piece and shorten it to however you like. on that same
bar where you clicked on the show timeline, you'll see a zoom in and zoom out
button. if you zoom in you will be able to see the time frame more
specifically.
