You do? Then cough up the money!

How? "A rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms

As MS uses it, trustworthy and computing are incongruous terms.

semi-amusing at least, until one gets tired of their tripe-wrapped
spews.

There is no false allegation. Symancrap AV does try to connect to
Verisign every chances it gets. That why when Verisign had its problems
in January in 2004, Symancrap AV users, found all their computers bogged
down. For me that was the final straw, and I removed it from all my
computers.

And as for intentional crudeness, I see you aren't immune to it either,
or are you just projecting your own problems with warts on your ass onto
others?

Really, have you actually ever seen kurt lift something illegally, other than
making words terms mean theft?

Did you ever (and don't lie) take something that was definite theft, (even if
it were a piece of candy)?

According to Don, you will always be a thief, notwithstanding your

LOL, I didn't change it, you net nazi, someone else did, and I just follow posts accordingly. I already explained to you before why I gave up following rules that people break (like yourself doing now)! If you get butt wedgies because of you see perceived newsgroups posting irregularities, avoid replying to them after you've gotten over your newsgroup conniption fit!

Just because many people in the MS groups don't have a clue about proper
methods in posting and threads doesn't make anyone pointing it out a Net
Nazi. It is interesting to see your reaction and the maturity in which you
reply to it.

It is more interesting how you violate the very same things you complain others do, by doing the very same thing; e.g. posting off topic! Again, don't read it, and also be consistent on who you reprimand for your version of NG netiquette violations. I have yet to see you say anything to an MVP, or another that does the same things that gives you anal acid reflux..

And you know this ... how?

Maybe by experience, maybe by word of mouth? Personally, I've heard from
several folks (that the enterprise/corporate version of Symantec antivirus
is a horse of another color and much more pleasant to use). Have never
tried it so can't give a first-hand opinion but trust those who have
related their opinion to me. Enough that I would consider giving it a try
if shopping for a new a/v solution (which I'm not).

As always -- YMMV

The people of this group are NOT your children. YOUR rules do not apply
here. Whine to your own children, about your rules, because, as you can

Yea, like people that don't know how to set line lengths for 7X
characters, people that understand how to post but choose not to post
properly, like people that complain about people that try and help people
understand Usenet methods in a nice manner, like people that complain to
complain....

I've never differentiated between MVP and anyone else, if an "Informed"
person doesn't post properly they are lamers just the same.

As for violating - I did change the subject of a couple threads once they
became completely off the subject, and I posted the last time under the
same subject in order to give the reader the opportunity to change it. If
you take your head out of your arse you might be a nice person.

Again, I don't care what your rules are regarding USENET as I have tried to use them according to acceptable rules; only to the ones (like you) who preach the gospel about those rules break them. So, I just make things easy for myself, by posting according to whoever makes a post. If they top post, I reply in kind to keep the thread consistent, likewise in reverse. I have given up using your idiotic standard for word wrap, because there are too many that don't follow through, so I stick with it, and it reads better on my machine.

Again, I have yet to see you go after other violators, especially many MVPs here who post like I do), probably because you would get ignored nad feel hurt, who knows with you anyway. But I do find it amusing that you get mentally constipated looking at a version of a non-leythos standardized newgroups composition. I just read, reply to the topic at hand, and move on, life's too short for the net lames like you.

L

Leythos

I've mentioned it in a number of threads where I've posted, come to think
of it if you've missed it then you've not really read much that I've
posted (except the the Kurt BS).

When people top post or when they reply without including some part of the
thread they are replying to, and it's a thread I'm involved in, I do
mention it. I didn't single you out, that would be a waste of time as
evidenced by your inability to post properly. I usually only make comment
of the posting method once in a thread anyway.

I don't read the whole thread, unless there is a situation where one was seeking help. But these threads that are about lames, I only reply, and read the posts that are directed to me. You worry and complain so much about how others should compose their posts here, that it has become obsessive compulsive behavior for you. I don't like top posting, but I am not going to complain to those who do, it does no good. Again, if you don't like the way I post, don't read them, or place me in your killfile, I don't change anything that I have setup in these groups anway, so I would last in your killfile as long as your killfile filter isn't changed.

I reply with pertinent parts of the thread, and most of the time, I snipped out parts that I don't make replies to. Again, move on, and stop being a net nanny, it does you no good, and I am going to follow the same posting procedures that everyone else does. You remind me of a somewhat mild-manner Miss Perspicacia Tick, who also get butt munges when other don't meet her net standards.

L

Leythos

To each his own, sometimes you run across someone that cares and it makes
a difference. While I know that the countless zillions posting to the MS
groups barely understand the difference between the Intern and the Web,
some people actually do care once they are informed.

You're one sad example of a human being, you know that Kurtsy? Normally I'd
trim your stupid crosspost list, but since you're such an mornonic idiot, I
thought I'd leave it alone here. Following is a small sample of 15,600
posts concerning you - not a single one looking anything but positive in
nature. You're a real bass turd, in fisherman's terms. It's a wonder no
one has clue x 4'd you yet.

Your self-debasing lunacy is going to make you even lonelier, and you know
what? You deserve it and asked for it. Have fun, you kiddie ludite!
