Is there a way to copy a jpg file and save it to another
directory as a bmp file?
FileCopy works somewhat, but the file is locked somehow.
I believe it has to do with the fact that the exact type
of bmp file was not specified. When I open the copy and
click save, the SAVE AS dialog comes up and forces a
selection. I need to copy hundreds of jpg personell photos
and convert them into a bmp file in order for the 3rd
party software to recognize it.
Are there parameters I am missing in my statement or can
you think of a better way of doing it?
-Mind you the original jpg images must remain on the
original server (Can't just move, must copy!)

This doesn't seem to be the appropriate newsgroup to ask a "graphics file
format" question - this newsgroup's subject matter is MS Access, the database
product.

That said, I think you will need to invest in a utility that provides batch
processing of file conversions. Check out ACDSee, for one:
