Mike,

I was trying to use the steps in the Creating Customer Components for
Windows XP Embedded article that you wrote. I went to try and download the
InCtrl5 tools that you mentioned and found that ZiffDavis is now charging
for access to their utility library. Do you know of another utility that
has similar functionality?

Yeah, I'll take some responsibility for that as well - I also documented
InCtrl5 before it was moved the pay area of ZDNet.

If you search for "uninstallers" on shareware sites, you should find
similar tools. When reading the descriptions, make sure they log file
and registry changes made to the system during the install process of an
arbitrary application.
