If you would kindly advise on the mediation rules for this group I would be
most grateful. It seems that some postings containing accurate information
are sometimes removed ?

It's not moderated in that you send you post in, a moderator reviews it
and decides if it gets posted. However, I think that someone from MS
does go through, or maybe something, and checks to make sure they're
sort of on topic etc.

The posts disappearing may be due to several things, one is your news
reader being set to not show read messages. Another is that the
newsserver removes messages after X amount of days.
