attahcements to appear in a bar rather than message body

When I sedn an email and include an attached file, it used to appear in a box
above the body text, below the subject. Now it gets placed in the middle of
the body text. How do I switch it back ?
 
Don't use Rich Text format mail items. Plain Text & HTML mail items place
the attachments in the 'header line' while RTF messages place the
attachments in-line
