ATTACKED-ABOUT:BLANK Home

Hi All,
I need help. I have been attacked the the about:blank homepage deficit. I
have run spybot, avg, adware and spysweeper with no help. PLEASE ADVISE.
This is very discouraging.

Oops. I have another question. Can I just system restore and will this
correct my problem. I think I received this last night while surfing.

Have you tried CWShredder? After you clean-up, you will have to go into your
Internet Properties and reset your homepage to whatever you like (Google,
Yahoo, etc.)

It might. The tool you want to try (though it is not fully updated) is
CWShredder - see www.aumha.org/freeware/freeware.htm

That is what aumha has. And it is still not fully updated - an almost
impossible task with the varieties of Cool Web

Just posting the link - Prefer to get software from original source,
if at all possible. As to it's effectiveness, can't say - Just assume
the latest version of any tool/app is preferable ( like Virus Defs,
or those for Spybot, AdAware, MS - Asw, etc.)
