attachments

I have just recently been sent an email with a attachment
on it, but i am unable to open the attachment, it is
saying that oe will not give permission for me to open,
why is this...?

That's for virus protection. You can uncheck the option
in Tools, Options, Security, but make sure you have up to
date virus protection and know the attachment is safe. PS
OE is not part of Office. It's part of your Windows
operating system.
