Attachments

I try to attach to a email and the program closes down. Any solutions to
this problem out there?

This is probably caused by your antivirus program.
Windows Mail is incompatible with most McAfee and Norton
antivirus programs. If you are using either of those two, it is
best to uninstall it and replace it with a more compatible
antivirus, such as the free version of Avast:

Don't have either installed on my computer. Thanks for the idea, I have AVG
free edition.

When you installed AVG, did you use the option NOT to install
the mail scanning module? If not, you may have to reinstall.

If that does not fix it, I suggest you upgrade to Windows Live Mail:

that's what i did..window mail made more problems..i needed to unistall it
and restore system..too many bugs in window mail...

If you don't like either mail program, you may want to give
Mozilla Thunderbird a try.
