Attachments in Outlook 2002

Hi, this is probably something really simple but . . . I
was attempting to attach a zip file to an e-mail I wished
to send and Outlook would not respond. When I went to
attach other types of files *.pdf & *.doc no problem. Is
this something new? I don't recall having this problem a
month ago. Anyone got any thoughts about what is
happening now?

Hi, Larry here.

This appears to have been a problem with the extend.dat
file. The solution is to find and rename it to
extend.old and then let outlook recreate the file.

Hope someone else gets some use out of this answer.
