Attachments blocked

I have attachments from business associates, and the
outlook blocks the attachment. How can I set the setting
on outlook to allow attachment to be viewed?

Try going to Tools-Options-Security. On that screen is
an option to "Do not allow attachments to be saved or
opended that could potentially be a virus". If you have
antivirus software on your computer that is up to date
you can uncheck this option. You will have to close out
of outlook and reopen it before the change will take
affect.

Are you using Outlook, or Outlook Express? They're entirely different
programs - there are separate groups for OE....

What ARE you talking about? That won't help in Outlook. The check box you
describe is in Outlook Express. The OP should see
