Attachments blocked, help?

Hello,

My Outlook prevents all attachments from being opened. I thought I could go
to:

- Extra
- Options
- Security
- Prevent Save or Open attachments which could possibly contain a virus
(Translated from Dutch, actual text may be different)
The last option should be changeable, but it is not. Text is in grey, not
black

So how do I fix this? Most attachments are Powerpoint files from reliable
sources.
