Attachments being zipped in Outlook 2003

Outlook 2003 seems to automatically zip larger files when
I attach them. Some recipients can't read them

Can this be turned off

Any ideas, please reply to (e-mail address removed)

Outlook doesn't do this on its own, so you will have to look for a third
party application that adds itself into Outlook. Some that come immediately
to mind are WinZip, QuickView Plus, and Zipout.
