attachment warning

I have a very similar question to the very last one posted... but the answer
provided is not the answer needed in my case. I inadvertently turned off the
warning box that opens up when you click to open an attachement, any
attachment, to an email in Outlook 2003. I am running windows Xp -- clicking
confirm after opening in the file applications on control panel is not the
issue. I do not want to confirm AFTER opening. I want to get that pre
opening warning back in place so that i know I am ABOUT to open up an
attachment form an email... it is a second chance to stop yourself from
downloading something you really dont want to download. I cannot for the
life of me find the option in outlook -- and I dont know where else I should
be looking. anyone with insight, please drop me a line. many thanks!

It's not 'Confirm after open.' It's 'Confirm open after download' so it is
what you want. Go to Folder options in Windows Explorer, File Types, Advanced
to recheck it.

HEY, I m facing the same problem, but in my case the solution u provided is
not working!!!! Ctrl Panel / Folder Option / Database File / Advanced ->
Confirm open after download is already checked!!!!!

Although, i UNCHECKED it & then again CHECKED this option & rebooted my
system, it's not working at all.

I M DESPERATE to get a solution, anybody out there plzzzzzzzzzzzzz, help me!!
