Attachment trouble

Outlook Express, I can see attach in bottom half of email but when I try to
click on the attach to view, it won't open. Window says to go to Folder
Options to create an assoc. for this file. I looked there and saw file ext./
correct program assoc. already. Why can I view it in orig email but not when
I click on attach icon to view it's entirety? Could this be a problem with my
TIF?

:) I think it's SP2... my Dell system was purchased in 2001 with it already
installed. Do you want me to check for sure? If so, your gonna have to tell
me how. Also, this problem also just seemed to occur in the last month or so.
Thanks!

Click Start, Run and type Winver and press Enter. The following screen
appears which shows the Service Pack level of your system. If the words
Service Pack 2 is present at the end of the line, then you have Windows XP
SP2 installed.

Alternately, you can check the version information in the System Properties
sheet. Right-click My Computer icon in the Desktop, and choose Properties.
The System tab should display the Operating System, and the Service Pack
level of your installation.

Cannot run this image program: Run-time error '339' Component 'ComDlg32.ocx'
or 1 of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or
invalid.
Also tried Registry Mechanic and repaired most problems but did not register
to repair the rest of the problems detected. I still get the same message
about the file not having a program assoc. with it. In my folder options, it
shows that the file ext. that I am using are assoc. already with the correct
programs.
