Outlook has no limit.

Your ISP might.
So might the receiving ISP.

Contact your ISP, see if they limit the size of an email message.

I have checked all of that and my ISP is ok I have sent the same Zip
file from my laptop and it sent ok, must be something to do with the
settings in Microsoft Outlook on my Desk top any ideas? thanks

Let's start with 'gets sent back'. Does this mean you're getting an email
back saying why the message wouldn't go?

Could you paste in the text of that message?

Tools - E-mail Accounts - View or change existing e-mail accounts - Select
the connection - Change - More Settings - Advanced. Make the Server Timeout
longer than it is.

If those steps aren't correct, what version of Outlook?

Does this only happen when you send to certain email addresses? Some ISP
mailboxes have limits on size of files they will receive / store. i.e. AOL
max file size is (or at least used to be) 2MB. Check with the person you're
trying to send the file to.

Ok, lets go back to something. The message you're getting. You said you
can't get it fast enough. What do you mean? Is it a message box that pops
up and disappears? Is it an email that shows up in your mailbox and
disappears?

afterthought: mail may also bounce if the recipients mailbox is too full.
