Attaching files

I recently had a problem with Outlook and had to reload
the whole operating system. Now when I attach files the
show up in the body of the email. In the past they
always showd up under the subject line along side the
word "attachments". I would like them to show up under
the subject line like before, but cannot find an option
to change this.

Please advise.

tools, options, mail format and change it to plain text or html, not
Rich Text.
