Attaching files

Can anyone tell me if there is a way in which I can attach
binary files together under Windows? (xp home) I know
that files can be attached under the command mode.
Another question, Is there a means in which the attached
files be separated?

Zip 'em, with the built in archiving utility, then attached the ZIP file.
The recipient can unzip them.
