Been there and tried that...doesn't work. Despite Sapphire advertising 256
memory bus on their website the cards have the memory chips inline, 'I'
configuration and are all 128 bit so there's no chance of softmodding.
Hercules AIW 9800SEs seem to be 256 bit with the 'L' shape memory
configuration (2 chips above and two to the side of the GPU), so there's
at least a 60% chance of success.
